CASE STUDY — VODKA

42 Below Vodka

A Kiwi icon reimagined. For 42 Below’s redesign, the creative concept lived or died in the glass itself — a new bottle structure with an embossed kiwi, carried from CAD through to production alongside a full print and finishing spec.

42 Below Vodka — textured label and embossed kiwi in glass

The Challenge

A structural redesign is the highest-stakes form of packaging realisation: new glass, new materials and new print processes all landing at once, with no room for error once moulds are cut. The bottle, label and finishes had to be developed in parallel and proven before committing to production.

The Approach

I managed and oversaw the bottle’s CAD development, production specification and design — calling out new materials, overseeing mock-up production and validating every print deliverable against the creative intent before release.

The Result

A redesigned bottle that carries the brand’s character in its structure as much as its label — delivered from CAD to shelf with materials, mock-ups and print deliverables proven at every stage.
